The Trafficlyser NTG|Small is a modular build measurement adapter, especially made to act as a remote station for the Trafficlyser products TraceSim VoIP and easyVT. The Trafficlyser NTG|Small is based on the Network Storage Link by the company Linksys and is able to connect to nearly every network component like Switches, Router, etc. On this possibility you are able to make quality measurements according to the E-Model and PESQ to every desired network segment.

Approaches

To be able to measure properly the end-to-end speech quality in convergent networks, it is necessary to capture all network segments in the measurement. Only in that way a continuous quality statement is possible of a connection of participant A to participant B. The Nextragen GmbH offers with the solution Trafficlyser PESQServer a possibility, at a reasonable price, to make PESQ measurements according to ITU T Rec. P.862.
